Bible Studies for Life App Description

This is the free viewer for Bible Studies for Life. Once downloaded, you will be able to select the volumes available for purchase. Bible Studies for Life is a series of curriculum for all ages, babies through adults, intentionally designed to help connect the unconnected, strengthen families, and disciple people with wisdom. Adults, Young Adults, and Students study the same passage. Kids study the same passage where appropriate, but connector passages when more suitable to their level of biblical learning.† In addition to the session content, each volume features interactive study questions that are stored so that you can access your responses on multiple devices. You can also create highlights, bookmarks, and notes anywhere in the content. The app supports multiple translation Scripture pop-ups as well.

  • Not Very User Friendly

    By Terryof7
I was hoping to be able to do the Bible studies that our Sunday school has for us that comes from a book but was unable to. You might be able to do this but the app isn’t very user friendly even thought it had a tutorial. Deleted it.
  • So Far So Good

Just downloaded the app and I'm enjoying it so far. I travel daily so I like the facts that I can read the lesson on my iPhone. Now I can keep up with my BSF Class.

What's the deal? Did support just stop? I loved this app for the ease of getting and studying my lessons, but where are the winter quarterlies? We've already started the first lesson and I can't get it on my iPad without going to Lifeway, creating an account and buying it there! Same with Explore the Bible app. These little glitches will eventually make me move to other Bible studies.
  • The studies are great ... but ...

    By bradyja
Addendum - 8/29/16: Our new Sunday School semester is beginning in a couple of weeks. I've purchased several of the individual lesson books ... but ... I won't purchase anymore. The pages in the books aren't numbered and it's too difficult to follow along in class without page numbers. I purchased this study because it's the study currently used by my Sunday School Class and it is so convenient to read and study my lessons during the day on my mobile device without having to carry the book around, in addition to using my iPad in class. The one great inconvenience for me, however, is the lack of page numbers. In class when my teacher instructs us to turn to a particular page ... it's disconcerting for me because I don't know exactly where to flip to, unless she happens to mention the page topic or subject matter that I can zero in on. Maybe I've overlooked it, but is there a way for page numbers to be shown on the pages?
  • Where is KJV version of the lessons?

We use Bible Study for Life in our adult Sunday School and felt this would be a great tool but we use the KJV version of the lesson guides and apparently they are not available here. Only NIV, EVS and another one or two. Please add KJV support.
  • What happened?

    By kennethecampbell
I have the older version of this app which had lots of cool bells and whistles for the books. It was great. What happened? This new version is NOT user friendly and not what I can in good conscience recommend to my adult class students to use. And...when logged in to my account I can't download or access my previously purchased books. Highly disappointed.
  • Misses on a couple of key points

    By HPC_Guy
Doesn't have page numbers, which makes following in-class direction difficult as was mentioned by another user. Doesn't support rotation to landscape mode on iPhone 5S although it does on iPad 2. However the app is sluggish for scrolling on the iPad 2. No performance problems seen on the iPhone 5S.
