App Reviews

  • Excellent Information

Much more useful than what's offered by 23andMe
  • great app

has several additional reports to 23andMe, including things like resistance to ultraviolet light and suspectability to air pollution.
  • Waste of money

I've purchased a few of these apps to find info on my genetic DNA. After uploading my raw data, this app gives me the least amount of info of any other app. It has no value. I'd like a refund and I've never asked for a refund for an app before. Apps like Genomapp and genetics are so much better and full of info. This app is expensive and doesn't cover most topics other apps do for half the price. Buyer beware.
  • Ok app

This app provides some good information but it primarily references a second app that needs to be purchased. I can't recommend as it is primarily a marketing tool to get you the buy an additional app.
  • Not worth the price.

Not worth the price. This $11.99 app gave me the same info as the other $.99 apps. And the information they give seems to be average information or educated guesses figured through process of elimination or information I already concluded...like I have straight hair. Duh. I already knew that.
  • Way too $$$

This app is could be helpful for those wanting their raw data interpreted into some "useful daily info" on their phone (maybe) but not yet. And for $11.99 I shouldn't have issues with frustrating navigation between subcategories and the main directory. I'm directed to connect with 23&me every time I open your app. At this time, save your money and stick to the websites. Some of the best ones for reading raw data are free.
  • Improved Information

makes information from 23& much more usable. Recommended
  • No way

    Not worth it
  • Not worth the money

The app breaks down a few of your genes and tells you very basic info about it. It took me 3 minutes to go through all the genes and I learned nothing I didn't already find out. It's not even interactive. I paid over $12 to delete an app that took me 3 minutes to find out all the info it has for me. Don't buy. Waste of money.
  • Very comprehensible

I'd done the 23andMe but it takes forever to study what mutations cause what, or which SNPS cause certain aspects. Couldn't have made it more simple and user friendly.
