App Reviews

  • Love the app but one big issue.

I haven’t been able to upload a post in a few weeks now. Hopefully a fix is coming!
  • Developer non responsive to paying users. No support.

    By xJTWx
The developer points users to the subreddit as an official support channel. For me, there is an impactful bug where "more" comments loaded are always loaded as best, and ignoring the specified sort order of the thread. This makes any active "live watch" discussion posts unusable, and forces me to use the official app, which loads new comments correctly. I'm a paying "pro" user. I posted this bug report on the subreddit. No developer response. After days went by, I saw the developer active on other posts, and commented "can you please acknowledge that you've seen this bug report and support request?" and linked him to the original post (which has multiple upvotes by now). No reply to the comments. Weeks go by and I try again. No response. It's now been four months. Still no response. The bug still exists; comments are not loaded according to the specified sort method, making threads meant to be sorted by new impossible to follow. This app is an ok alternative to the official Reddit app, but I am disappointed that the developer has completely ignored my support requests (which are really bug reports that he should welcome).
  • Better than Reddit’s app!

    By robault
Cleaner design, more options, all around great user experience. Gladly paid the premium and custom app icons are the best! Why aren’t more apps doing this!? Yo dev! Any chance you can grab comment text when the post or comment you’re replying to is deleted before you hit submit and keep a copy in a drafts folder or something? I just lost 2 replies today in 2 really good discussions because of this and I would have loved keeping a copy of what I wrote. The way it is now the submit happens and...nothing. Since it can’t actually be submitted the draft goes away and everything that’s written is lost.
  • Great app! One problem

    By Fartmageddon
This app is my Favorite alternative to Reddit! Really you guys did a great job, and I happily tip you guys. But i do have one gripe with the browsing. Sometimes when i browse gifs slowly, the next one in line will begin playing, and by the time i get to it its already half way. I haven’t used mobile reddit since downloading Apollo a year ago, but i do remember not having this issue there. Basically can you guys implement a setting where gifs will autoload, but wont play unless i tap on it or fully show it? Anyways, 10/10 app i love you guys.
  • Get narwhal

App is riddled with bugs and glitches. It never works correctly and no word on fixes coming. For every big the dev fixes it creates 5 more. The app is better then the official Reddit app but it’s still a hot mess.
  • Heckin awesome with and without purchase

    By iWafflzz
I’ll say it now, you don’t need to buy the features to get the most out of this app. I absolutely love this app.
  • Does everything well except the most basic thing

    By drtu93
There are constant issues loading all sorts of things like comments, posts, and profiles. It doesn't matter what network I'm on and doesn't happen on any other app.
  • Fantastic, but has a couple issues

    By Murderizer9000
Best Reddit viewer for iPhone by far. FaceID functionality is a nice touch. Absurd amount of useful features. My main 2 problems with this app are: 1) It’s too easy to hit the back button. If you press it instead of tapping it very quickly, it brings you all the way back to the Subreddit selection screen. Really irritating if you scrolled down quite a ways in your home subreddit, because the progress will be erased. If you start on your home subreddit, click on a comments section, and accidentally press the back button instead of holding it, then it will bring you back to the subreddit selection screen instead of back to your home subreddit. 2) The formatting on the comments sections can get very screwed up over time, especially with spotty internet connectivity. Sometimes if you click on a blue “X replies” link to show hidden replies, the link will just disappear without expanding those replies, leaving you with no way to get to those comments unless you reload the page.
  • No post submit button for people who paid for alien blue

    By TomaMas
One star due to the lack of restore purchase. When the app was alien blue I bought it and had to restore purchase consistently, now it doesn’t even do that. App isn’t too bad it’s just the company that can’t keep track if you paid them or not that is atrocious
  • Amazing App
