    Streaks has changed my life. It's the best app I've ever gotten. It's helped me transform so many parts of my life: -I've reduced my youtube consumption by 75% (and haven't binge-watched since I got the app, 6 months ago) -I sleep over an hour more a night -I've started waking up when I set my alarms -I drink maybe twice as much water -I'm meditating every day -My inbox went from 6000 emails to 0, and stayed there. And many more. I know what I want to be doing but sometimes I struggle to do it. This app helps me keep doing what I want to do. It has a power that simple promises or goals or deadlines don't—I need to keep my streaks, and I've done some crazy things to keep them. Every time I check off a streak, from simple things to hard ones, I'm proud of myself. I encourage you to give it a try. If you do, here are a few quick tips: -Start with a few, really easy streaks. Don't set 12 things that aren't going to happen. -Turn on "show countdown badge on app" to remind you what you still need to do -Change the "start day at" to be a time you'll actually be asleep One final thing I love about this app is the customization and support. The app icon and main screen can be changed to dozens of different colors. Initially there wasn't support for changing when the day rolled over, but I contacted the support team and it was added a few weeks later. You can make this app your own. Problems are quickly fixed and the experience is always improving. I can't recommend it more.

    I was originally drawn to this app because it was one of the few habit trackers that didn’t require a ridiculous monthly subscription. What I found, was a beautiful app with all the features I was looking for. I especially love the widget and the color themes.

    This app’s strength is its simplicity... you figure out a handful of things you want to do everyday and make a hint and it reminds you and keeps track of your streaks. I thought it was a gimmick, but I’ve been surprised to find that it actually works for me! I’ve been much more successful in continuing streaks than prior to using this.

    Really helps hold you accountable and motivated you to keep it up. Whether you’re keeping track of your steps, washing your face, taking your vitamins, etc., once you have even 2 days of a streak, it really motivated me to keep it up because I didn’t want to have to start from day one again. LOVE IT!
  • iCloud Syncing Not Reliable

    I wish that iCloud syncing was more reliable. It really isn’t. I’m not sure if it’s an Apple issue, the app itself, or both. But if you plan on using this app only on one device, it isn’t a big deal.

    I absolutely love this app. It was slightly difficult to figure out at first but once you do it is real easy. I am on thyroid meds that I often forget to take and this app has really helped me stay on track with that. I highly recommend it for any reason. I love the timer feature. Anything that helps you better yourself is a win.

  • Excellent, but needs just a little work..

    This app is an exciting way to establish new habits or break negative ones, and it’s worth it. But the options and menus need just a little work to bring out the most in the app. Firstly, it sends notifications to complete a task when you have already informed it that a task is underway, which is a touch annoying. I’m hoping there are individual notification settings for each task but haven’t figured that out yet. Which brings up my second concern. Figuring out how to accomplish something is generally pretty intuitive but not always, and it’s hard to locate directions. A link to a FAQ or manual would be helpful. Lastly, there is no option to do a task a certain amount of time per week/month. Timed tasks only work in daily mode. It would be helpful to set an amount of time doing a task per week. Overall an excellent app, however. It’s been fun to use and has proven helpful this far.

    Not usually writing down the views, but I want to appreciate the app: I was recommended the app by a friend, and I purchased it reluctantly -ok, well, it seems like an overpriced app for just checking a box and getting a reminder... I take my words back. I have to say that I love the experience. I use it you can say little, only tracking two habits I'm trying to practice, but I love the simplicity, and at the same time thoughtfulness and usefulness of the simple features. Particularly this week, the ability to see the 30 day and 7 day running averages have "saved" me from going down the "ok I'm not capable, I give up..." route. Kudos to the creators of the app
