It had free auto mileage for a long time and suddenly they make you pay for it. $59.99 a year is outrageous. I’ll find something else to use. It’s not practical to click a button every time when driving so much

Hurdle tracked for free my mileage. Free version tracked me all the time which I was ok to record every drive out of my work hours. Recently this changed. It no longer tracks my hours behind the scenes and requires your open the app and manually track every drive rather than tracking all the time... Will switch to Quickbooks self employed from now on.

It’s a great app. I’ve been using it just to auto track my miles for about 2 years now. But now all the sudden after having this auto track feature for free for 2 years it now wants me to pay $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year for it. I suppose it would be worth it if I was using the app for everything such as tracking expenses, income etc but all I use it for is to auto track miles. With so many other FREE APPS out there I’m simply not willing to pay just to auto track miles. Almost like a bait and switch. They try to get you used to the app and then they want money. Sorry but that’s where you lose me. You can’t charge for something everyone else is giving away for free. I’m sure the IRS wouldn’t mind what my auto tracking app looks like, the color, the screen formats or any of that as long as it tracks the miles. So if the IRS doesn’t care, why should I? 🤷‍♂️ BYE HURDLR!!! It’s been a good run but I’m all set, I’ll find another app. I received your response to the above just now. And it is in fact a bait and switch. You can’t give away something for free for 2 years and then try to charge a ridiculous amount of money for it all the sudden and expect people not to be upset about it. (funny how you said the current price is discounted, I’d hate to see the full price! 🤷‍♂️). And you especially can’t start to charge for it all the sudden when you know full well that many other apps are offering it for FREE. It’s bad business and you’re going to lose allot of customers. Not only are there free ones but there are other paid ones which are cheaper too. But see, you think you’re slick. If you no longer wanted to offer it for free you could have ended the free version for everyone AT THE END OF THE YEAR!!! But instead you purposely end it in the 4th quarter so that customers will now pay for it to keep all of their miles and data in one app for the rest of the year. That is your bait and switch. You’re sneaky. Who is going to want to have most miles and data in one app and then have to switch apps before the end of the year? No one! And you strategically picked now to end the free version so you can FORCE people to buy it. That is SHADY BUSINESS!! And I will not involve myself with shady people! I understand you guys develop and at some point need to turn a profit but being shady like you just did with cutting people off before the year ends is unethical and shady! Furthermore, if you did your research you’d know that there are plenty of other apps who will offer the mile tracker for free but then charge for use of the other tools like tracking income, expenses, receipts, etc..... YOU CAN’T CHARGE FOR A MILAGE TRACKER THAT EVERYONE ELSE IF GIVING AWAY FOR FREE. That makes no sense. So you still get a 1-STAR for being an unethical shady developer. And if you take me calling you out on the facts as an insult that is on you and not on me. Maybe if you gave people plenty of notice and ended it at the end of the year I’d feel different. But nope. ONE STAR FOR YOU!!!

Been a user for Hurdlr for awhile now. Was seriously thinking about switching to the premium. Love the auto tracking but now auto tracking mileage has been taken away. That’s what made Hurdlr so appealing. Bring it back or this user will looking for a new platform for my Rideshade driving.
