Bumble - Meet New People App Description

Over 21 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble: On Bumble, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL "Bumble exists to empower women..." (Fast Company) "Bumble is just an app: but it's changing the discussion." (Wired) "Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:" (UK Sunday Times) "Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app" (Texas Standard) "What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. • Anti American

Reporting people for guns is actually absurd. You’re actually doing a disservice because if somebody is that afraid of guns, I would think it be better if they knew beforehand that their match has weapons?

I went on one date through this app about two years ago. That person is my partner now, so I would say it works. Thank you :)
  • Decent dating app

Bumble, I think it’s time that we go our separate ways. You can show me the five or so stellar profiles at the beginning of the day but we both know those aren’t real. I miss the days when you would give me attractive, interesting women and when I would match with those women. I guess my “rating” got too low for those women. Clearly something changed in our relationship, I hope it wasn’t me. I respect that you’re a career girl and put your profits first but I wish you wouldn’t regularly put me second in your life. We had something great but it just didn’t last. I did find my last girlfriend on bumble so I guess it deserves one extra star for that.
  • Waste of time and don't ever spend money on here

I've seen some of the biggest jerks with a ton of matches on here just because they fit the mold of what either the bumble staff is looking for or the client base on bumble is looking for; Not for me. I imagine a bunch of petty girls scoping the profiles nit picking what they want others to see about you, and that's not me. Tinder is better: as lame as that sounds. Want equality? Treat people equally.
  • Nice app for women

Only downside is the section in the messaging area that is green! It was confusing at first but it’s all about money. Also, there are always men that just want sex. They have apps for that. Wish you could filter them out by key words or a reporting option (to be investigated) But over all not bad(:
  • The girls are lame

There are some really shallow girls on here. I’ve had several potential dates that could have turned into something more, but the girls never go through with it and always drop or block me and never speak to me again without a reason. Lot of girls have wasted my time.. even my money when I bought tickets to an event (didn’t get my money back.. never again). Be careful who you talk to, they may seem innocent but they don’t give two flying Fs about you when they made up their mind to drop you without telling you why. Bunch of pos girls on this app or it may just be in my area.

You get matches right away... then it stops. Forces u to upgrade. Oh well!
  • Spies on your Facebook

No other reason to require one. They scan and sell everything you do. That's how they make money. Edit: they say it's to make logging in more efficient. That most mean they're lazy or lying. I don't have a Facebook, so it's not more efficient for me. So this either means they're too lazy to have their own sign up page too for those who don't want Zuckerberg data mining them, or they do scan your Facebook account for data. I'm going with they do scan, because I doubt they're that lazy that they can't make their own login. This even more so because Tinder uses the same Facebook login bs and can work with just a phone number now.
  • My favorite dating app

I would highly recommend this app, I use it the most out of all the dating apps on my phone. It’s nice not getting blown up with messages from guys I don’t want to talk to. My only complaint is that there isn’t enough room in the “About” section.
  • Bumble is anti 1st and 2nd Amendment

Bumble won’t let me put pictures of my target shooting hobby on my profile. This hinders me from finding a like-minded woman to date. I have deleted the Bumble app due to their lack of respect for our Constitution and American values.
