Bumble - Meet New People App Description

Over 40 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritizes meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use, and that will never change for our main features. App Reviews

  • Not worth the effort

6 months of swiping and not a single conversation. Waste of time.
  • Unsatisfied

Swiping right doesn’t mean you’ll get swipes back which is unfortunate. Not sure if there’s an algorithm on this app or what but it doesn’t seem like it works for everybody
  • Garbage

    Haven’t got any matches..,
  • 17+

    By emiliz01
17+ is very deceitful! I started to make my account and when I typed in my age it was like “You have to be 18 or older” you guys should probably changed the age on the description of the app. K. Thank u, next!
  • Guys don’t waste your money

Bumble like tinder is a useless app for most men. In an age of #metoo this app basically is another unicorn finding app. For most guys you are better of meeting women at star bucks or at a bar. Bumble on top makes its even more difficult for an average guy cause it’s empowering women by blocking men from making the first move. In other word it’s just pathetic but hey #metoo empowerment for sluts and fk boys
  • Snooze Feature

    By CapnMo21
I was really upset to find that all my matches were notified when I turned off the “snooze” feature. I thought the function of this feature was to allow you to take a break without notifying existing matches. Clearly that’s not the reality. If you’re going to keep this feature, you should at least warn users that it will notify matches when they switch modes. Not cool!
  • Everything was fine until iOS 12.1.1

    By Forwarddeployed
Have a brand new XR. The phone updated to iOS 12.1.1, and now the app stopped working. The App Store tells me to update, but when I attempt it, it tries downloading then stops, and I am unable to open the app.
  • GIF’s not working

    By sammybee2323
Oh no! Where did the GIF option go?! That’s the sole way I flirt now 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
  • Notifications

    By Gunderbunder
The app never tells me if I have a message. I have to go and look at all my. Amber notifications to see if a message was sent or just go into my messages every so often. Please update! This is a common error I see a lot with this apps updates. I think it’s fixed then another update rolls out and it’s back to not showing notifications
  • Not happy with the newest update!!!!

    By x000Panther
I love some of the new changes that have come to Bumble, but I’m so upset about losing gifs! They’re such a fun way to communicate and that goes beyond the everyday nature of just texting. I really hope this was just a test and that they’ll be back.
