The League App Description

Want to date someone who shares your drive? And maybe you'd like to meet someone attractive who looks good in black-and-white photos, courteous enough to use proper punctuation, and flexible enough to fit into your way-too-restrictive schedule? While your mother may call you picky, we call you self-aware. It’s happy hour, so go get ’em.' We’ll do the vetting so you can do the petting. League users now have the option of becoming members by purchasing several subscription options. Membership offers extra perks, customization, more prospects and invites to exclusive events. Depending on what term you choose, your Membership will last for 1 month, 6 months, or 12 months, and automatically renew at those intervals from the point of purchase onward. If you wish to cancel your membership before it renews, you must do so at least 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will be renewed at the same price the next term. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. See terms and conditions at and our privacy policy

  • Hate this App!

The choices are terrible! I would like greater control over picking and with a free account I get he weirdest picks. I have only wanted to meet one person in months.
  • Waste of time

This app is a waste of time. You only get 5 people you can like a day. None of the people I matched with wrote me or replied.
  • Don’t waste your time

After downloading the app and completing the profile information you are put on a waiting list for months, possibly years before being activated.

Pretty dope so far! Definitely on some professional type “meet and greet.” If something change. I’ll let it be known tho. Lol.

This system says it is selective and a more bespoke online dating experience. It’s not. All the people on here you can find on hinge. You have to say that you will basically take whatever they have in matches because they have a limited small database of potentials. Everyone I matched with I also found on hinge/tinder. Only having five matches per day also makes the process much slower and you lose interest even checking the app. Don’t recommend this at all. Might as well go buy your self a few bottles of champagne instead for the cost and enjoy with friends. It’s trying to be ASW mixed with Hinge and failing miserably.
  • Terrible

Once you contact customer service they try to steer you to iTunes. They want to make it difficult for people to cancel. It’s hard to see how this company will make it long term, treating people like this
  • Don’t hold your breath

This app isn’t worth downloading unless you’re wanting to drop serious dollars to get a match. As a regular member you only get 3 potential matches a day and unless your preferences stretch very broadly, you’ll end up getting suggestions who are located in a completely different city. Of course, if you want to increase your chances of finding someone, you can spend $25 to get “tickets” (5) to move up in a match’s pool or send a message. It’s a joke. Also, I hope you’re not worried about physical attractiveness because the overwhelming majority of members leave a lot to be desired.
  • Really not worth it!

Ok I get the vetting process, but it’s ridiculous! I have waited 4 weeks before getting accepted. I have referred 6 friends so it can bump me up the list and two of my friends got accepted in less than a week but I had to wait a month. It was unfair and ridiculous to be honest! However, now that I am in. I get three potential matches every day. The people are attractive but there are not very diverse, so that’s my first low. Then the matching is kinda stupid because if you like someone, you will be on the waiting list of his/her batches. So if you are number 27 who liked that profile, it will take up to 9 days for the person to see your profile. So you can imagine if you like someone really attractive and you are number 100, it will take months for the person to see your profile. You can bump yourself up that waiting list but you have to pay for it, which is really not worth it. So that’s another low. Then even after you match with someone, people just don’t respond. They literally do not interact at all, and I wonder why we matched anyway. The League advertise itself that the matches are more communicative than any other dating app, and it has an expiry date of 21 days, if there is no interaction, the match will expire. But then should the concierge tell people to respond more or remove their membership from the league? Like i understand if some people are not very talkative on chats, but if someone does not message any of his matches at all, why the concierge doesn’t check this out? To be honest the experience on the league is like any other app, the differences are that you wait for it to be accepted, and the membership are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE! Like why would I pay $99 per month? Or $300+ upfront for an annual membership? Like with these fees, I am expecting to find the one for sure, but The League cannot guarantee that, they cannot even guarantee that people will even respond to your “hello” Just fake propaganda!
  • Horrible business model.

Paid for membership, but experience was not what was presented at time of sale. Immediately requested a refund and was refused because they “use the money for research.” Can you imagine if any other business told you that? The platform has a lot of weird kinks, but otherwise is probably a great service for some people. Just wasn’t what I was looking for at the time, will never come back if it becomes something I want later because of awful customer service.
