App Reviews

  • Simply Great

Update 2018-1-20: I still like the app. The new update seems to have fixed the need to tap multiple times to get the timer started but now it doesn’t carry over sometimes from set to set. Now that I’ve been using it for a while, I would like to see more detail in the history and progression charts. I’ll have to try the CSV exporting function and check out how it looks. These are little details. The main app functions are awesome and the simplicity is great. Original Review: I like this app a lot because it's simple. I wanted an app that was a good record keeper of my exercises to help me see how I did before and if I am progressing. This app does that very well. I like how I can bring up previous exercises in current exercises to see how I did the last time. Having a timer is great too though I seem to have to tap that a few times to be able to select a set number of seconds. It would be nice if I could put in times like I do reps for cardio exercises since I like to do short bursts sometimes. Great app with what they already have.

Good app. Would like the numbers for final input to be in bold.

This was a simple app to use to keep track of your workouts. It’s also gave ideas on what to work out on and gives a long list of workouts to do.
  • Messy, Convoluted and not leveraging the capabilities of Watch and phone correctly

    By Boogieking
I’ll start by saying I’m a moderate to casual gym enthusiast doing about 5-6 visits per week and basically working out for health and to stay reasonably fit n trim. No hard core routines or reps. That said I find FitList promising because it’s already pre-populated with an extensive range of strength & weight routines including those that I do regularly. But once you start using it , you realise it requires a manual set selection on the phone, (already way too many taps here), followed by activation on watch and then followed by manual synchronisation before u can see the set on the watch. But wait starting the set on watch doesn’t trigger an auto start on watch n vice versa and worst of all the watch relies fully on your manual entry on the watch (or phone) once you’ve completed the set. Which begs the question - why bother having a watch app in the 1st place if it isn’t to auto detect the number of reps or type of set?! And I’m totally in agreement with “ Nuculerman “ one can easily get “lost” between the watch app instance or the phone app instance , you never know which is the current active set. All in all, what I would’ve liked to see is FitList beefing up the watch app significantly (as of now there is really no reason whatsoever to use Apple Watch effectively since everything can be accomplished on iPhone.) Hey FitList - go see how Google Fit Workout is implemented on the Tag Heuer Connected II watch. Just click start, it auto detects reps, rest, even guesses weight level of dumb bell etc. Bottomline is, as of current version you’d be spending more time getting the sets and routines set up on your Phone (or Watch or both) instead of working out !!
  • Used to love it.....

The new version will not stop displaying on my watch until I reboot it. What a pain! Even after closing the app on my phone and watch it continues display.

  • Recent update is good and bad

    By lightfusegetaway
From a UX perspective, the update has improved an already good experience. However, the app keeps crashing on me. Scenario: in the app, I’ve opened the panel to log an exercise, turn off the screen and set phone down to do the exercise, after I’m done I return to phone and open the screen and the app has closed. I have to re-start it and navigate back to that workout and exercise. Happens 90% of the time. Very frustrating!
  • Great Tracker/Organizer

    By SPass42
Downloaded a few workout loggers and trackers and this one is definitely the most easy to use and input your workouts. Easy to add from their large selection of exercises or just simply write in your own. Can add supersets, giant sets, drop sets. Very simple but has a lot of features. Highly recommend
  • New App is poor

    By Fitness Z
This app was great. Now they added sliders to put on the weight and rep. You have to put it in on EVERY SET!!! It takes too much time. A timer has been added but it has no alarm! I’m looking for a different app now. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••*******++++* The developer sent me information on how to get the alarm to work. Also I found out I can type in the weights and reps. Works great now.
  • Weight Bug - What Happened?

    By CoreyPD
Since the last update, the weight of the last set won’t load - only the reps will. Please fix.
