Research has shown that smaller, more frequent study sessions are the key to knowledge retention. In other words, taking short quizzes on the go is a much more effective means of exam preparation than reading page after page in a textbook. Apps offer the benefit of interaction, which means you’re far more likely to remember a concept you engage with rather than one you’ve only read about. I have taken the NREMT twice, and this app is the closest thing you can get to the actual questions on the test. Great app, learned a lot, but it really needs an update. Crashes, freezes, takes forever to load sometimes. Other than that it’s great
  • I trust it

This is actually a pretty good app for getting ready for your national. I use it whenever I’m bored and waiting somewhere just to keep things fresh. Worth getting for new emt students.

I failed the first try at the nremt and downloaded this app before the second one and was way better prepared and passed. Worth the money to get the full version
  • Free is useless, be prepared to pay

I’m only basing my review in this “free” Version of the app. It’s basically useless in this form because it has maybe a total of 20 questions for you. Then after you answer them it says “sorry, upgrade for $14.99 to get the full experience”. This should really be marketed as a very very brief free trial. They would be better off legit just having it cost the $15 from the start. Misleading having this “free” option
  • Highly recommend this app over everything

I studied with this app throughout the day for a month. Highly recommend this app. Lots of information and good questions that are similar to the actual NREMT test. Definitely helps with question answering skills. I failed my first test horribly and the second time I attempted the test after using a nremt test prep book and this app I passed it after only answering 75 questions on the test.

It’s been 5 years since I went through emt school but this year I went traditional and was sweating the test. I studied this app and in six months passed the test with ease!!! This app is amazing even if your not traditional it keeps you fresh on new policies!!!

This has good questions but the app is too slow. I would recommend the app still only if you have the most up to date phone .
  • Good way to study. Buggy app though.

I’ve been using this app for a while now. Overall it stays up to date with the latest information on the NREMT exam. My only complaint is that it will randomly crash on me when I try to start it up. Or it’ll be supper slow to load everything up. It’s also overheated my phone before when it was the only app running, and yes I restart my phone and I keep it updated. I have paid for the entire thing. Overalls it is a great app. I only gave it 3 stars because of how buggy it is. But if you are wanting to be an EMT I strongly suggest you download the app. But be warned that there are sometimes where you will need to be “patient” with this app. Yes that was me trying to make a medical pun... I’m aware that it was not funny. Good luck to those who also desire to be an EMT. :) Highkey use your book and people more though. They more helpful. But this isn’t bad either. :p
