  • Beware of Scammers

Too many scammers. Had to delete it
  • Great features.

Hinge provides a great balance of photos, background info and commentary. I only wish more people used it.
  • Great concept/Not so good with customer service

    By calilove72
This is a great concept! So much better than some of these others out there! I like that the profiles are short and sweet....get to know the person once you’ve matched. Don’t waste time on those you won’t. Only issue I have is with customer service. I had a question about the process and a particular matter with my account, sent at least 3 emails and have yet received a response. I’m sure they are busy and maybe don’t have enough people to share the workload but a response would be nice! Other than that....
  • I want to try a serious match making app?

    By Long_Haired_Artist
I’d like to give it a try, but... 1. I’m immediately given only a choice of handing over my phone number or the login to my social media. Given the number of fake social media accounts was sufficient to sway a presidential election, and far too many scammers call me with spoofed numbers, I’m not convinced that either are relevant for determining that I am a human. Why not let me use an email to register, allowing me to maintain privacy, and employing better methods of registration? Otherwise, I’m just going to have to get a burner number. 2. I don’t see any real description of what this app actually does. I’m aware that there is an algorithm, and some reviewers state that there are (disappointingly) three fields of interest to fill out, beyond the six (!) photos that are mandatory. Oh and there is apparently an accurate location tracker??? Just put a crosshair on my forehead. I’m glad that there is some acknowledgement that the swiping method is terrible, but even the swiping apps claim to use an algorithm. I feel this is cryptic for !we are access your data to sell it! I really preferred the good old days when you could manually check a box for the interests that mattered (the ones that really mattered!) and get a match based on actual interests! - because we all know that social media data is full of the perverse and idiotic things we think are stupid and funny in the moment, and forget to erase our embarrassing behavior after. This algorithm thing, big mistake. 3. If there is actually a way to specify that I can match with a fantasy /digital artist, younger than me, not (much) fatter than me, that doesn’t smoke, drink, or praise the lord daily... devs please clue me in! Because nothing you’ve presented thus far convinces me to paint a target on my head for Russian colluder spam. What is even the benefit or options available for paying membership fees? Riddle me this- if I join a site that takes seriously the prospect of meeting just the right person... why do I need monthly memberships that test me to keep looking?

There’s nothing special about this app other than the BS they tell you to tempt you. Then they want access to EVERYTHING. Not in 2018 buddy. Not unless you’re stupid anyway. No lack of stupid people.
  • Message thread glitches

I get notifications I have messages from these girls and then I go to the thread and I have no message even tho in my notifications I can see the messages for the most part
  • I love this dating app

    By Hospici
This app is not just about swiping left or right. Actually for the people who care about finding someone that really match their personality.
  • Just another dating app

    By SomeAdam
It’s really just another dating app. There is nothing that set Hinge Apart from any other. Especially when they come up with “most compatible,” “top match,” or whatever they want to call it. It’s really pretty simple, just ask people why they decided against sending a like or a message instead of trying to guess what people are. Then compile that data. Shouldn’t be rocket science. Ask me what my dealbreakers are...simple. Boom...I just did your marketing for you. I think I’ve chosen one or two recommendations from hinge
  • Infiltrated with bots and scammers

    By Innominate4372
I joined in April and met some people in real life. But as soon as this site unlinked with Facebook I received a deluge of profile likes from attractive men with strange names (“Jones Donald”) and messages in broken English. When I looked these men up on Facebook they had three friends, weird credentials, and general shadiness. Fake pics, weirdos, and scammers. No thanks. Too bad because I liked the original premise.
  • False Profiles all over the place

    By Lkhkkmbut
False Profiles all over the place and I’ve reported a bunch. I like the prompts with questions a lot though and I I do wish people could add a little of their own paragraphs along with the prompts. That gives different and additional information.
