When I tell you this is hands down the very best electronic payment app. I'm surprised more people are not taking advantage of this service. Thank you Google 🙏🏾

  • Don’t not send money on this app

The support team is very bad, they will make you run in circles and still not give you a refund. Told me they couldn’t do it at the time, how does google not have enough money 2 refund their customers? So my advice is find another app 2 send money

Not sure why people are still using cash app and Venmo when google pay goes into your account instantly with no fees. Why do these other money sharing places exist?? This and Zelle are the only ones anyone should be using. It’s great.
  • Nicknames for Payment Methods!

    By ajr432
The fact that you can’t nickname your cards is a deal-breaker! It’s just a long list of visa-xxxx with no way to differentiate between the credit card, debut card, health savings account, etc This is super easy and people have been complaining since 2016, get on it!

  • Unreliable and Downright Bad Customer Service

A friend sent me some money via the app. I tried to claim it and it claims I’m signing in with the wrong account. We’ve triple checked it and ensured the account is correct from both the sender and the receiver. I’m on what must be close to my tenth customer service representative. Some time back the rep told me it was an Engineering issue and that she’d follow up with me in two days time. Instead I got another email asking me to “sign in with the correct account” from a different CSR as if we’ve not checked that half a dozen times already and had an Engineering case opened. I finally request a supervisor and he again asks me to do the basics for the twentieth time. I finally asked him about the Engineering case and he says it’s not resolved. Ten days, several emails, two chats and two phone calls later the case still isn’t resolved. CSR’s (you will get a new one every time and have to explain yourself all over again) from Google can’t be bothered to read case notes and take the lazy way out (have you tried logging in with the correct account?) every time. Google couldn’t care less about my money and they won’t with your’s either. I will NEVER use Google Pay for a transaction outside of Google again.
