  • Lack of checkbox a deal breaker

Sounds trivial but look and feel is very important to me. The lack of checkboxes besides the tasks was a deal breaker for me and I didn't look much further.
  • Time and date isn't working well

I've been a paid user for years. Lately the time and date natural language input is not working. Anytime I try to set it, even manually without natural language input, it doesn't seem to accept the date on the iOS app. Please fix. Thanks!
  • 4 Star app competing with 3 Star apps gets a 5

Other than a handful of small bugs this app is the best to-do list app I’ve found.
  • One of the best . . If not THE best

Todoist is an extraordinary productivity app that manages one’s projects (short term and long term) along with the daily chores, errands and tasks. It does an outstanding job when used with a GTD mindset. It can set up with as much complexity as you wish, but it also excels on a very simple level. Adding tasks is really easy and can be done in several ways including options that do not involve opening the app. (It also integrates with hundreds of other apps and with voice assistants such as Siri and Alexa.) I tried other apps, but none come close to Todoist.

I’m pretty vigilant when it comes to investigating the best productivity apps. I spend my money just to see if it’s worth it. I’ve used Todoist for 3 years and it’s provided everything I’ve needed for home and especially WORK. $28/year is a no brainer bc you gain more by remembering important tasks and meetings. Want reminders at specific time? Check. Want location reminders? Check. Want repeated reminders? Check. But the beat part, auto-parsing when typing out tasks. I don’t have to click multiple things to set a reminder. I simply type what I want, when I want it, and where I want it. None better.
  • Not worth it

Overall it was a pretty good app with an simple interface but the fact that you only get push notifications for the subscription fee is ridiculous. I’ll switch back to Apple Reminders
  • Great app but needs more features

I would love it if we could create filter and label folders. For instance, I have a lot of school filters and labels, and it is a very long list, so organizing them based on category should be essential. I have filters for things I have not started yet, which requires a label not there (!@started) and lots of other things like questions for teachers and easy homework and critical things, it’s awesome. The filters are amazing. But I need to organize them more. Make a drag and drop quick add subtask feature like Things to do manager, it would make adding sub tasks to parents very easy. Thanks! If I had those features this would be 5 stars.
  • Needs synchronization support

Synchronization is inconsistent - I have lost my task list twice now. It is a solid app but this one hiccup keeps me from continuing premium subscription.

tag in wunderlist should be mapped into label

There is a bug. I put phone numbers in comments if it’s a reminder to call someone. However, when I touch the phone number to place the call, the app crashes instead.
