The Simpsons™: Tapped Out App Description

THIS GAME IS LIFE-RUININGLY FUN! From the writers of The Simpsons, comes the city building game that lets you create your own living, breathing Springfield! When Homer accidently causes a meltdown that wipes out Springfield, it’s up to you to clean up his mess… we mean, help him rebuild it! Collect Your Favorite Characters Help reunite Homer with his loved ones - Marge, Lisa, Maggie (and even sometimes Bart) – as well as his not so loved ones, like Ned Flanders. Re-populate Springfield with your favorite characters, from Barflies (Barney Gumble) to Wise Guys (Fat Tony). Add them all, we won’t judge! Dress your characters to the nines with options like Daredevil Bart or Lizard Queen Lisa, and relive scenes from your favorite episodes of The Simpsons! Take Charge of Your Springfield Can’t control your own life? Now you can control the lives of the citizens of Springfield instead! Make Apu work ridiculously long shifts at the Kwik-E-Mart, have Moe smuggle illegal animals, or make Homer toil poolside all day… that last one might not be so bad. Build Your Own Springfield Think Homer deserves to live next door to Moe’s? Or the monorail can survive a few more sharp twists and turns? Or 40% fewer health inspectors? Well you can finally make Springfield just the way you want it! Expand your town to the Waterfront, grow its businesses with the glamourous shops of Springfield Heights, and enjoy its sights, all with only a few taps. Experience Unique Simpsons Stories Catch exclusive animated scenes and new hilarious stories from the writers of The Simpsons. You know they’re good because they write for The Simpsons! Tapped Out is the most life-ruiningly fun Simpsons game you can play! Always Something New for Your Favorite Town Springfield might perpetually be on the verge of destruction, buy hey, at least it’s never boring. Whether it’s Halloween monster invasions, superheroes run amok, or chaos caused by one of Homer’s “great” ideas, you’ve got never-ending options to tap! This game used to be incredibly well put together. The first few years I played, the characters would appropriately only walk on the sides of roads and only on grass if necessary, and they would NEVER walk through objects, especially water, because whoever is designing the game is too lazy to make them have to walk around LIKE THEY ALWAYS USED TO. There is no excuse for this happening. Maybe you should spend a bit more time making the game acceptable than simply coming up with ways to try to fleece people out of money.
  • Get Rid if Krustyland Quest!

I LOVE this game, but would really appreciate it if the Krustyland quest is deleted so players don’t waste 50,000 Money on useless things they can’t put even put into inventory!

I love this game it’s fun and my sister and I have been playing and grinding for years. Recently I decided to get back into the game and started all over from scratch which was fun. However it’s not fun when I have to download a 902 MB update every single time I switch off the app, even if I don’t close it. It takes about 15 minutes each time and It’s getting really really tedious and annoying. I thought it was because I had to sign into my EA account so I did, and it completely deleted my other Springfield that I have put 15$ in and I cannot get it back and that is upsetting. But I don’t care as much about that as the fact that I just want to play this game and it is unplayable because I have to download a 902 MB update 11 times a day. Well yesterday I did, I counted. It was 11 times I had to install the same 902 MB update. Please fix that bug where you have to install the game all over again every time you open the app(even if I don’t close my applications and just switch to another app then switch back I usually have to download it all again) However the gameplay is really fun and admittedly addicted which is why I still play but I and I’m sure many others would appreciate some bug fixes with the login. I would change my rating to five stars if I didn’t have to wait 15 mins to play each time...

Really good game involves some thought but not overwhelming. Only complaint is there are too many specials and they drag on too long after they end but my favorite app on the App Store by far and I’ve been playing for years
  • Game unplayable

I've played this game for a couple years now and would give it five stars but most of my characters are stuck on one job that they repeat over and over. Tried all recommended fixes to no avail. EA is absolutely no help.
