  • UI and Crashing Issues Won’t be Fixed

After a couple years using this app, I’ve realized none of the issues it’s had have been resolved. The UI is designed to look good, not to work well. To close an image, you can either use your left hand to reach the X or you can flick it. However, flicking the image rarely works. You can’t flick up anymore, and you have to flick directly downwards slowly – any angle and it will move to the next or previous image rather than closing, and if you do it too fast it just rebounds. The UI also has icons you won’t know the function of till after you’ve tapped them and the action cannot be reversed. When browsing, it uses the infinite scroll model, which is a pain for the eyes and the brain. The only thing infinite scroll does is make an app more time-consuming. The app always – ALWAYS – crashes after using it for more than five or ten minutes. I think it’s a memory leak thing, but I’m certain 500px does not care because it has been an issue since well before they started the new unfriendly UI stuff. At least there aren’t any ads! Yet…

Of all the online pictures sites I’ve been and seen, I think 500px has the best collections of pictures of arts and photography including the best artistic persons and personnel you can find in today’s generation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An awesome collection of wonderful photographs.
  • New Look

Please go back to the previous version. I don’t like seeing photos from others I’m not following in my main stream. I regularly view others photos in different places on your site. I also don’t like the new format where pulse info etc is not easily seen along with the photo. I would also like the photographer's name highlighted vs. the title of the photo.
  • New interface

I love the app. I hate the new interface. It is so hard to like photos that I’ve pretty much given up liking photos. But I still like looking at all the pretty pictures.
  • Meh? Flickr interface better

500 px is still a mystery to me after 4 years of using it. My photos reach popular all the time yet I never see them in the popular feed. Or any feed for that matter. Flickr has a tighter and better design. Flickr displays photos more ascetically, scrolls smoothly not like 500px app. Too bad it’s not better, it’s the better platform for photogs. You can’t access all features that you can with a browser, too bad there again. Listen and do something about it.

Well this app just turned into a waste of space. What used to host artistic expressions of a photographers portfolio is now GONE!
  • Not listening

This latest update is a complete failure. They lost me for good by not listening. The outpouring of negative comments from users is a red flag. Just provide us a great search so we can discover what we like. You will NEVER create a predictive algorithm that does that. NEVER!
  • App is broken

I have had this app a few years and it was great the last few updates have actually broken the app, for once the app is super slow now and constantly freezes. What was once an easy task to like photos by touching the heart is now a task on its own. You have to touch the heart in the photo a few times because it seems not to want to register your touch. This is impossible to like photos now which i stopped doing. The new look is great i love it but before that like bug is fixed theres no way im going to spend time liking photos it’s absolutely infuriating.

Why do you keep making it harder to save to galleries? On Android you guys made it awful and now on iOS what used to take 2 clicks now takes 3. Why make basic functionality harder?
