I’ve tried a ton of map apps and none come close to this. It’s easy to use and very thorough!

There are a few user-interface that could be improved, but overall, the functionality is great, I haven’t run into any bugs, and the bang:buck ratio is awesome. I use this primarily for work in water resources and civil/environmental engineering for some basic field survey work and retrofit inventories. Arc Collector is another tool to use IF you have the ArcGIS subscription ($$$$$), but this will work nicely with many free software programs such as Google Earth, QGIS, etc. Highly recommended.

So far the best GIS software I have ever used in iOS. The most surprising thing is the price. I think it’s very cheap compared to the capability it offers. Thank u very much developer. Currently I am working with some data which have HTML information. But the data is not shown as it suppose to be. Any help? Note: The problem does not occur with the iPad version of this software.

  • Amazing! But there’s a learning curve

I almost gave up on this app before I realized it’s potential but I’m glad I didn’t. I was looking for an app that could pick up where google fell short and I found that and more with this program. Still, I feel like I am barely scratching the surface of what this app can do. I think it would be a very good investment if the developer were to invest more heavily into the tutorials - perhaps geared toward material that is not too challenging to those of us that have absolutely no background in IT, programming, coding, etc. I had this app for almost a year before I actually used it and almost never tried to use it again because of the difficulty I was having with the learning curve. I still probably only know how to use about a quarter of its functions once I buckled down and read the tutorial that is offered online, though I would be lying if I said it wasn’t a challenge. Some of the information on there is quite advanced. Developers: I suggest investing in a video tutorial series in addition to your online tutorial. I think the customer base would benefit greatly if they offered a video tutorial. This would lessen the chance of some folks getting frustrated and never getting far enough along to really see what this app can do. Oh, and THANK YOU for this app. What a god send!!!

So happy with this app, you don’t have to be a coder to manipulate map files with this app! I have used it many times for aerial applications and it’s just been a pleasure to use. If I had one request, it would be to have a searchable help menu in app. Keep up the great work!

New to mapping. I work for a small utility and we are using it to map our sewer system. Easy to use. Easy to create kml files and use in other applications.

I am a GIS Professional, and this is by far the best implementation of GIS that I have seen for a mobile device. Incredibly full-featured. Turns your phone or iPad into a mobile GIS platform. Highly recommended.
  • By far, the most advanced iOS mapping app.

For basic use this app works fairly well right out of the box. It includes a nice feature that reads the tags from your photos and plots them on your map. Where this app really shines though is in its more advanced features. It allows for layering of online maps and downloaded MBTiles while supporting various projections. GPX and shapefile layers are easy to add as well. It’s layering and drawing capabilities are more like a desktop app like QGIS than a mobile app. Nothing seems to be as powerful and stable. Out of the box Gaia has more maps available and its features are more accessible. However, if you need more control and have your own data sources this incredible app from China can’t be beat.

I'm a pipeline operator and utility locator we recently got iPads and this app is by far the best for loading our lines in on an overlay it retained all the info from the main file. I'd recommend this for anyone that wants to keep detailed maps or import detailed maps onto there iPhone or Apple product. Update customer service is 110% I’ve emailed them over the last year or so with improvements and they have all been implemented bravo 🤘🏼🤘🏼.
