I know inbox is being discontinued so I would like to make a suggestion. I like to create folders for different types of emails. Makes it easier to organize emails I want to keep. What I find annoying is the layout of gmail where in my inbox it has all mail and just has them labeled with the folder they’re in. I am migrating to outlook for this reason. In outlook I can add emails to a folder and it removes it from my inbox. This way I only see new items. It makes my inbox clutter free and makes me happy because I can sort my emails quicker. I never understood the option to create labels / folders it the email was still visible in your inbox. Hopefully I’m not the only one that finds this annoying. If there is a way to fix this and I am just missing it please share. I greatly appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Can you please add a feature that allows you to add files as attachments from an iPhone? The only options available are Camera Roll, Recent Attachments, and Drive, but if I want to respond to an email and attach a document that’s located in my iPhone files, I can’t.
  • Miss the old app

The ability to see messages from all accounts in the same place is great, at times. But I miss the ability to see emails from just one account at a time. When I click on each separate account, it tells me I am now signed in under that account. But it still displays emails from my other account. If I want to browse emails from just one email account this is very difficult to do because I have to sift through emails of multiple other email accounts. The only way I can see emails from just one account at a time is to go into “manage accounts” and toggle off the accounts that I don’t want to see. This is very frustrating. Please fix.
  • Fix the filters!!!!

    By A135.123
I get thousands of emails every week and depend upon filters to auto archive the emails (that I have to be able to locate at later dates if there are questions about the orders) These filters stopped working about 3 months ago. It won’t group them, it won’t sort them. It’s a huge waste of my time.

  • Not a viable replacement for Inbox

    By jw725
The Gmail app is cluttered and still doesn't have the best features of Inbox. It doesn't show my reminders or allow me to create new ones. And there's no pinning functionality that allows me to write a note to myself about why I pinned an email.
