Fx Cal App Description

NOTICE !!! FxCal accesses a private website requiring user authentication and is useful to Fedex Express pilots only. APPLICATION DESCRIPTION FxCal is a site specific browser for the Fedex Express pilot web site. Just like a browser, it can cache information for later display, only optimized for the small screen. FxCal is so easy to use with one hand you will be tempted to ‘trip trade while driving’. Please do not. The basic FxCal program provides download and local storage of VIPS calendar and trip information, and submittal of drop requests. Password and eGrid can be stored for one touch login. VIPS events can be sent directly to your iPhone Calendar. An Auto Poll subscription allows viewing of open time, submittal of makeup and trades, and allows the program to refresh open time at preset intervals. A two month subscription is included with initial app purchase. FxCal provides an integrated trip swap bulletin board for pilots to post, view and reply. On the iPad, FxCal is a fully functional, next generation bidding solution! FxCal is not a ‘bot’ that bypasses codes or does automated trip trades. A tutorial is available at the link below. Please do not purchase this app if you are NOT a Fedex Express pilot as no refunds will be given. FxCal is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fedex Express.

FXCal is outstanding but with the most recent iPhone software update it crashes anytime I try to open my calendar.

  • Bad Choice

I purchased this app for my iPhone 3G, now a few months later it no longer works because it isn't supported on iOS 4.--- (the latest for the iPhone 3G) Save your money.

Runs smoothly and is definitely a nice tool to have when searching open time. Very pleased.
  • Tax? Are you kidding me?

Of all the apps I have purchased, this is the first one I have ever been charged tax. Greed!!!!!
  • All a FedEx pilot needs to manage his or her schedule

  • Money Maker!

Fantastic app! Enables me to do trip trades/drops/adds so easily and quickly. Now I do not need to carry a laptop. Everything I need with a few taps, even on open time night. I would suggest that anyone who is not totally amazed with this app go back and read the tutorial again. After using it a few months, I did. Can't believe the capabilities of the app that I was not using. Probably should not give this a great rating, as it may take away my open time advantage. One trip trade or open time pickup will pay for the app for a year. This is a helluva bargain at twice the price. Plus, no need to carry the secret squirrel decoder. Easily transfers to iPhone or iPad or Mac calendar. Allows you to email trip recaps. Read the tutorial
  • Needs work

Expensive for a program that doesn't work all that well. Lots of bugs. Layout is poor. Navigating through app in order to carry out a trade is time consuming. The quick links are handy but the rest leaves me unimpressed.
  • Slick app, very handy

I find myself using this app more and more. It allows easy login and download of your calendar, deviation ck in is a breeze. I just started using it to view FPR's. Highly recommend this app!
  • Save ur $$

Not worth the money and not that well designed. Could have made menus easier to navigate. Fact that you have to pay every 3 months for open time is BS.
