This app forces you to click ads to generate revenue for themselves. It should be reported and taken to court for misleading consumers

....and you won’t have to deal with the extremely annoying adds all the time. It takes a lot of time to get past an add, thus Safe yourself the hassle. It’s not worth it.
  • Used to be good

Just when I needed it most late at night in the subway, the app asked me to pay to avoid the advertisements and then it kept flashing multiple screens. I exited and returned but could not get back to the map. These developers are playing hardball.

Maps are good, but the ads..OMG they’re so annoying. Especially with headphones. While I understand the need to make money, embedding the loud unavoidable ads THAT DONT GO AWAY UNTIL YOU WAIT FOR THE X TO APPEAR is a dealbreaker.

The current version has ads that play music. Want to waste 15 seconds of my life displaying an ad for something I'll never buy? Go for it - I get that you need to make money. Disturb the people around me with irritating music? Not acceptable.
  • Ads are inconvenient.

Who has time to wait for the ad to finish? In most cases when I am opening the app, an advert pops up almost immediately, so I have to wait an extra 15 secs for it to finish, and by that point, I don’t need it anymore.

Lack of maintenance and management but wasting tax payer and riders money w/o improving renovating to a more efficient 21st Century bullet speed transportation network system. Year by year MTA keep wasting money to do non-efficient lousy maintenance work for an over 100 years old obsolete, out of date transportation system which is comparable to Africa’s 3rd world’s. While other countries are running bullet speed train system to increase efficiency for a 21st Century technology competition!

Poorly done ads that run all the time, trick you into clicking them and take forever to be able to dismiss.
  • WORST APP

They have zero communication with the MTA and nothing on their app is correct. They have no idea when the track work is. Find another app!
  • New ads make this unusable

Do not download - app used to be good, then they started full page ads that load when you open the app ... which was OK as they could be closed quickly. Why this matters: when you go to look at a map you often only have a few seconds before your potential train arrives - the info needs to be quickly accessible or you’ll literally make a bad transit choice costing you time and frustration. New video ads are now displaying and can’t be closed for a long period of time making this app essentially useless - it’s faster to load a nyc map PDF in the pdf reader
