  • Lacking basic functions

The app only gives you access to some articles. For example, a headline will appear in a FB feed but I can’t find it on the app. Further, it would be nice to be able to have the article found in a newsfeed to automatically launch in the app. It doesn’t. This app functions solely as a reader which is disappointing. Could be so much more robust.
  • App is hard to use. Not intuitive.

This app is not very user friendly. I’m very frustrated trying to get to the selection format I want to use. Once I found it, i had a very difficult time getting back to the selection feature at the bottom of one specific page. This app needs improvement.

We subscribe to this load of bulls*#! and they make you watch ads while reading articles and scrolling through articles?!? Not how it’s supposed to work. Don’t even waste your time and money on this tripe.

Liked IndyStar from beginning however, new format takes some time getting used to. Not clear division of news and sports.
  • Problems

This web site/server has significant problems. It frequently requires registered subscribers to religious in and the gives error messages such as ‘Server unavailable’ or ‘no account identified’. IndyStar has not been responsive to comments about it.

Bought a physical paper subscription for my grandmother, thought I would do the crossword online every morning. Crossword doesn't open on iPad.

Breaking news headlines arrive, but I’m often unable to read details because app won’t update.
