  • The best available

After using three other pedometer programs I’ve now had Walkmeter for two years. It’s the best program I’ve used. The one feature I miss is that one of the other programs alerted you every time you completed a mile.
  • Really?

I'm not going to use an app that thinks there's more than two sexes.
  • Annoying app

    By JimInWhitePlains
I moved over to this app from Cyclemeter. The other app by this company,. Cycle meter started recording twice the mileage that I walked,so I look for a walking app. I found this one by the same company and tried it. It records twice the mileage of my walking. I work on a known 1/2 mile course and the app shows 1 mile for each loop. When I run both apps simultaneously they record the correct distance but separately each one records twice the distance. I’m using an iPhone X with the latest updates. Please fix this

Lots of metrics sliced and diced many ways. All in all good app but I could never get heart rate data to work. Ended up switching to heartwatch app. It seemed to integrate with Apple Watch better. Update: support answered quickly and got my Apple Watch talking to walkmeter with heart data. Updated this review to 5 stars.
  • When I updated to iOS 11 i lost all locations tracking

    By jonahlee
I use the app with my iphone 6s and Apple Watch series 2, and as of iOS 11 I lost all location and distance tracking. I already pay for elite and have written customer support 3 times and not heard back in a month. I first tried uninstalling the app from my watch, then i tried uninstalling from phone and resyncing from the cloud, but the problem persists. So while it records my time and calories, my walks are no longer tracked at all, though I can see my position on the map, this makes the program completely useless! EDIT: I have now contacted support 4 times without a single response starting in November, that is over 2 months ago! I pay for Elite so this is ridiculous! This no longer works. And I moved to a new iphone, and the problem persists before and after I restored from the cloud.
  • Good, but could use some improvements

I paid for the Elite level of this app for one main reason - to be able to start and stop the timer from my Apple Watch. And of course to be able to glance at the elapsed time while walking. Starting and stopping the app from my watch works about 75% of the time, but there are too many times I have to pull my phone out. I make sure to open the app on my phone before I leave the house, but sometimes it still tells me to open it. Also, sometimes the info doesn’t transfer correctly to the Health and Activity apps. Otherwise, the app has way more info than I probably need, but I like seeing the distance, time, and map of each walk. So if there was better communication between the watch app and iPhone app I would give it 5 stars.
  • Doesn’t take advantage of series 3 watch

    By C'mon Johnny
The series 3 and series 2 with gps were designed to leave your phone at home, can’t leave the phone home with this app, seriously?
  • Watch 3 Won’t work without phone

    By Jimpilot5
I love this app and have used it for a couple of years to track workouts. I was dismayed to find it doesn’t work solo on the Apple Watch 3 and I still have to carry phone for it to work. I’ve moved on to another app now and did not renew premium. I really miss this app but developer has advised no plans now for watch 3 solo support. To bad it was a good app.
  • My best walking meter

The app was amazing, I loved it. It had a lot of things. This is the best app I've ever downloaded.
  • Walkmeter is Awesome

I love Walkmeter! My wife & I walk every morning and Walkmeter is our companion, keeping us on our pace and reporting the results. Even better, I had an issue seeing the app on my iPhone after upgrading to a new iPhone X and Support was incredible, even though we do not subscribe to their Elite enhancement. It is an amazing program and the developer, Advio, is most impressive! — Horseahorse
