  • Good service, would love a web app, too

    The app works well on my iPhone 7 Plus, with good call quality and a great feature set. However, a web app or support for Linux would make it a killer product for me. Also, the Android version gives the option to choose your default start up screen/view. Could we get that on the iOS version? I use the texting feature way more that calling and having the option to choose a default landing page is such a nice convenience.

    I’ve been with Line about 1 1/2 years now. I do get all my calls ( and I do get a lot of calls ) just when I’m on a call and someone else calls in that call will go to voice mail. I have better luck with it using the iMac app than I do the iPhone app. Using the iPhone app I have better luck with phone calls using the Data/ Voice switch and going to Cellular Voice. It would be nice that a particular phone could be the phone that a call would go to it first. Such as a tree and if there were 2 or 3 phones signed in you could designate where the call would go to first. When texting would be nice to be able to add more than 1 photo at a time. Also when you are in the calls section it always defaults to voice mail would be nice to have a choice either recents or voice mail. All in all I am really happy with the service. Yes I have had a few technical issues ( who doesn’t? ) . For what you get and what it cost I don’t plan on going to anybody else .

    For paying for the phone service, I’d like to be able to get my texts in the English language. I rarely use the app anymore to talk to my family (I live overseas). Every time they text me, it’ll come back with characters and in Chinese. None of the updates seem to fix this issue. Growing tired of not being able to communicate effectively and will be looking for another provider.

    When Line2 works, it’s a beautiful thing. When it doesn’t, especially on the heels of an operating system update (in my case, iOS), it’s worrisome that I may lose all of my calls, messages, and voicemail. As a mobile business without brick-and-mortar presence, that is potentially hazardous to the health and well-being of my (local tour) business.
