  • Great App!

I use Runkeeper Go and I absolutely love it. Highly recommend using their training plans and participate in monthly challenges, too. I like the privacy over my GPS-tracked runs and activity as well.

  • Selling to Asics was a bad move

I've used RK for almost 10 years (since June 2009) and what was once a really great app seems to have gone markedly downhill in the last couple of years. The app is glitchy, Apple Watch integration was incredibly frustrating and the web dashboard, which was once a highlight of the user experience, is confusing to use. I'm sure there are dedicated, talented people who continue to work on the app, but Asics need to give them the resources to make the innovative leader it once was. I use Strava now but would love to have an excuse to switch back.

    I’m decept!!! Don’t work in Watch 4
  • Doesn't work with Apple Watch. Loses workouts.

My first attempt to cross country ski with this app and an Apple Watch, I started the workout on my watch and everything went fine for the first couple miles. Then, around mile 3, I checked my watch and it was at the "Touch to start" Runkeeper screen with no trace of my workout in the Runkeeper app (the Activities app got data for closing the rings, so this problem was Runkeeper specific). Second attempt, I started the app/workout on my watch and after a 1/4 mile I checked to make sure it was working and it was "recording" but there was no data (speed, distance were still zero). Third attempt, I started the app/workout on my phone and everything seemed to work. I thought I had figured it out! Fourth attempt, I start the app/workout on my phone and somewhere around 6.5 miles it decides to pause my workout somehow, losing about a mile. This app loses data, so I can't trust it.
  • Great App & Website

Jan 2019 update: Apple Watch crashed after a 9 mile run dumping everything! Until the watch app is fixed giving it a 1 star rating because I don’t trust it anymore. Excellent app for running!! The App gives basic information, while the companion website displays a ton of excellent statistical data about your runs. A big winner!! I have used this app since 2008, and love being able to look back at my past statistics. Additionally the Apple watch integration had greatly improved, and I love being able to run without a phone now!
  • Good for Training

Great app for the most part. GPS and audio cues flop at times. But plugging in custom workouts is easy.

  • Missing one little thing!

This app is perfect I have zero complaints, not had any bugs, used it for years and it syncs with everything I need it to! My only gripe which is a small one but I really want it so I’m holding a star hostage- is the Runkeeper overlay for sharing photos! This overlay feature only lets you snap a raw photo, not upload from your gallery. So you can not take a photo midrun to use either- like you can only do it at the end of the run where you have a sweaty red face or at your house. Please let us choose a photo from gallery! :)

I walk most everyday. This app is great. I set the app to update me at 1/4 mile mark and every ten minutes. There are a few times it has me getting to the mile markers sooner than I am. Other than that, no issues.
