Walk off hero mode is a shame having 100+ rated players and smashing home runs left and right playing bonus games. You end up “crushing” these 70 mph pitches and you end up flying out, grounding out, and end up lining out to the dang pitcher!
  • Very frustrating game

For a baseball game that is supposed to be about hitting it’s way to hard to hit. The POV is above the hitter, yeah, you read that right. Curve balls and sliders make unpredictable and unrealistic breaks and balls in the dirt look exactly the same as strikes. Don’t waste your time.
  • Cash grab!

Everyday you need to buy special bonus players out of a box that gives you a 2.5% chance of getting one. Stay far far away unless you like wasting money
  • Beware

Be warned, the developers will jail you at any time and limit the games accessibility all while telling you that you’ve engaged in cheating. They will provide no explanation nor discuss the matter. This is likely due to playing the free game for free and not buying anything. All perfectly legal. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.
  • (Sigh)

This is game is fun at points, but at most times this game is based on just luck. It is also stupid how the outfielders run towards the wall, don’t even look up at the ball, stick their glove in the air, and the ball flies in
  • Plagued with bugs and ads

This app is constantly taken over with bugs and ads. And, if you want to succeed in this game, spending a ton of (real) money is a requirement. Bugs and crashes is the foundation of this game. When they do release an app update, it either doesn’t fix the issues, or does but introduces new problems. Support isn’t worth the time either. Also, the game mechanics are very poor. It has yet to be improved from even last year’s app. You can pay to get rid of ads, but Glu will continuously harass users with in-game ads to spend real money. (I’ve gotten several pop ups in just a couple minutes, even though I paid to get rid of ads.) The worst issue, as if everything else isn’t bad enough, is that this game is run by those who can afford to spend a major amount of money to improve their team. As mentioned before, Glu puts full effort into money-spending ads. If you decide to gamble your money for a player box and win, that special player won’t get more than one event with special bonuses. Why? Glu will release a new player box for you to spend your money on. It’s never ending. Only the wealthier/cheaters succeed in this game. I understand the app needs to profit, but they truly go above and beyond to not make it fun for those who can’t spend money to play. The only reason I still play is because I have a fantastic group of people that are in my club. I’m not sure how much I will keep playing though, as this game has been declining. It has so much potential to be a great game.
  • If you this game

This game is great if you cheat...which many players do. The company, Glu, does little to quell the cheating. They actually support the play of some of those that cheat. Do yourself a favor...stay far away from this game.

This game has been rad since the first update. Just keeps getting better.
  • Neat game for phone

Really enjoy the game despite its quirks. The biggest thing keeping this from a 5* is the incredible amount of money that is required to have a competitive team (well to have one honestly anyway). Outside of spending money, cheating/hacking is an option that seems to be willfully embraced by the creators of the game as all the elite players have some exploit of the game or have payed glu employees to hack the programming in their favor.
