  • I love this game but...

I love this game!! It’s almost to perfection!! If you could disable ads that would be great! even if you had to pay for it and a little cleaner interface...
  • Ads could not be more obnoxious

They’ve taken to intentionally hiding the dismiss button on each as and moving it around to cause accidental ad taps. Utterly obnoxious.
  • Great game but ads are irritating!

Love the game but the ads are terrible. After EVERY word you play an ad pops up. Sometimes it freezes your screen and you have to reboot your phone. It takes up SO much time to close these ads sometimes it’s not worth playing at all.
  • Face does not run the world

What a shame. Would like to upgrade but I refuse to be forced to use face book to log in. Contrary to many - they are not the be all and end all of the World. I’ll stay with the original and drop it if they force me to.
  • Horrible

I’ve been playing multiple games for a very long time, but I’m about to give up. The changes are horrible. It’s not just the ads, despite the fact I paid for an ad free version, it’s the crappy layout, too. The designers have never heard “if it aint broke, dont fix it.
  • Not really an improvement

What I said below still stands. Can I turn off any of the new extra features? [And I agree with another commenter. Why hasn’t the developer responded to my comment (which has been up since December)?] **Thanks for your response. Words with Friends has been the most reliable online Scrabble game, with the fewest connection issues and the most helpful features. Words with Friends 2 adds a lot more animation that slows things down, and “rewards” that I don’t need (for “coins” I don’t use), and the notifications of those rewards block the top of the screen for too long, so I can’t see which game I’m playing against whom, and what the score is. At least half the time I play the games in regular WWF, though I know they’ll stop maintaining it at some point. P.S. I’d like to turn off the feature that tells me I have no moves left.
  • Unfair

While I love the game, it can only be enjoyed playing with other people. When playing solo challenge, computer ( or whoever it is) makes up words to score high scoring words. When you check the definition, it says that it’s an acceptable words with friends word but that there is no definition available. Because it’s not a real word!! But if I have a word that I make up , I can’t play it. If you are going to offer solo play you should stick to valid words.
  • The ads are out of control!

I love this app but the ads! I wish you could upgrade to get rid of them. I don’t play as often because of them.
  • Get rid of some ads

Some ads get stuck on the screen, specifically the Final Fantasy ads. If the ad doesn’t work and won’t exit, then don’t put it on there. I shouldn’t have to keep restarting the game to get off the screen. If it continues to happen, I will not continue to play.

Great game. Why does it not show up in my apps in settings on my iPhone? It shows on my iPad. Highly frustrating to not get notifications on my iPhone.
