  • Could be a lot better

I have to update my review again. I am now receiving calls and they’re not even blocked through Call Protect they come through and I have to block them through my phone. Calls that even specify telemarketers are coming in and ringing. Why are they not stopped when they are already identified? Also unknown callers should automatically be blocked. The same is true for potential spam. I am receiving them all and they are driving me crazy and interrupting my day constantly. I automatically block these phone calls in my iPhone and then I block them in Call Protect. This is tedious and redundant. The only people that should be contacting anybody is who we wish such as in our contacts or businesses we are expecting calls from. Thank you for trying but it could be better. This app has not been updated in four months.
  • Used to Be Great

This app worked wonderfully when I first started using it, but it seemingly has quit working. In the last week my phone has blown up with spam callers, the app has not blocked a call in over a month, and yesterday allowed a call from Jamaica through.

You charge me a lot of money for all my phones, and I have been a long time customer, now you want $3.99 to protect me. Shameful

I’m continue to be harassed by the same marketing site who use a different number every time and care less about getting you out of their list and when you ask who they are they hang ,this is good if they are using their own number but when they spoof your screw
  • Poor -useless execution

If a call is noted as Threat Sever or Spam Risk then why isn't it automatically blocked? and why foes the call even come through. You’ve identified the number shut it down and stop letting it bother me. Isn't that the purpose of this app? Yet, I keep having to manually block. Block these. I don't want to deal with them which is why I downloaded the app.
  • Take it to next level.

Like app but it only Works on some calls. Would like to Block all calls that can’t be verified as accurate. How is it that most of these robo/spam calls use fake phone numbers. (If you do a call back get recording number not in service. ). Isn’t there some technology that could ID computer generated fake numbers? That would be great if someone could develop program to eliminate these obnoxious fishing calls..
  • Spam

You need to block these obvious crap calls at no charge!!!!!
  • Fail. Get Hiya instead

Upon initial setup, the app asks to verify your phone number by sending a PIN number via text. I’ve tried a dozen times over the course of the day, and and I never receive the PIN number. I understand it could take several minutes, but hours, and still nothing? Days, and still nothing? What a waste of time. Update: tried again a year later only because I’m an AT&T customer and recently came across this on their website, so I thought I would give it another chance... Nope, still can’t get past the pin verification because they aren’t texting me the pin. Here’s the thing: AT&T should offer the Plus upgrade to customers at no extra cost. I pay about $300 a month between Wireless, Uverse, and DirecTV Now... and they want to charge $48 more per year for this service? Ridiculous! Potential customers, do your research, this service is powered by Hiya. I’m now subscribed to Hiya, which is THE SAME SERVICE AT&T IS SELLING YOU, but I’m only paying $15 a year for it. AT&T is gouging you by tripling the price for no significant reason. If ya don’t care about your hard earned money, then continue to pay more than three times the price for the same product... or be smart and switch to Hiya.
  • More unblocked than blocked

When I first got the app I enjoyed the fact that it blocked most unwanted calls. Now, it only blocks a few. Many more get through than it blocks. Disappointing.
