Still doesn’t work on Apple Watch 4. Been waiting for a fix for months. Sad considering the costs for the apps and for the ability to sync.
  • Missing some stuff

Would be nice to have it linked to a map app to estimate time to leave like calendar in iOS I have to always go there to add that
  • Very Slow

It is okay. I won’t resubscribe next year and will replace as soon as I can. It won’t populate appointments and need a restart to do so.
  • Great app but getting a little greedy

    By tamk
I bought this app for $25 back in 2011 and it was worth every penny. I loved all the functionality. However, with the new Informant 5 release, they’re requiring current customers to pay again and have made it an annual subscription fee on top of that. No thanks! I’m willing to pay for a good app but $25 annually is just greedy. Especially for loyal customers who have used the app for years.
  • Great App

Awesome App. Easy to use. Better than my normal calendar. Highly recommend.
  • Update????

I don’t understand. I keep getting messages to update to the new Pocket Informant, even though I’m running 5 currently. I’ve had informant since the beginning, and when I go for the update, it downloads a new app and asks me to pay for it. Am I doing something wrong?
  • I love this app but...

I have used this app for years but a previous version. I purchased add-ons for the app & then they switched to a subscription. I can & still use the previous version but if if want to use anything but the calendar I have to pay the subscription. You can’t even sync the app without a subscription.

  • Ugly powerhouse

    By evanovich555
This app tries to do everything and by and large, it succeeds. But man it is a rough ui/ux. Subjectively, it just isn’t a pleasing app-space to be in. Harsh, unnecessarily utilitarian yet busy. Also, I don’t have so many activities in my life to warranty paying for such a tool I only use about 40% of.
  • Somethings I like, Somethings I hate

Release after release there are problems galore. Just look at the list of fixes in the last update. And still no decent watch app Still waiting for that functional watch app that people started paying for over a year ago. It will be another year before they have a functional watch app. They basically want you to support this app while it's still in development. Basically no watch app, agenda view jitters like crazy when you mark a task complete and it doesn't return to the correct place in the timeline, the week view is horrible as it's all jumbled and impossible to decipher appointments, instead of including tasks in chronological order with your events, they place them at the bottom which makes no sense. Avoid this app. If it wasn't a work in progress it might be worth the cost. Update 7/19: since yesterday's update the agenda view doesn't scroll to the current day when opening the app. Ends up between two different days. Also still can't get events to show on watch complication. It's a joke that I have to restar my watch to get events to show in the complication. Update Reinstalled to see if any improvement has been made. Had to restart my Apple Watch 3 several times to get the complication to show the next scheduled event. Week view is still way too cluttered and very difficult to see. Need the ability to change fonts Obviously there are some good things with this app, but the negatives prevent me from resubscribing. Here's what this app needs and I know it can be done because my app of choice, Calengoo has most of these features: 1. Nagging alarms for events and tasks (yes calengoo has this) 2. More detailed week agenda view (yes calengoo has a far superior week agenda view) 3. Tasks on Apple Watch complication (Fantastical has this) Add these things and I subscribe for year. Until then staying with Calengoo
