Pokémon GO App Description

Pokémon GO has now introduced the Trainer Battles feature. Enjoy one-on-one Pokémon battles with other Trainers nearby, or practice battling against team leaders Spark, Candela, and Blanche! Trainers can earn rewards for participating in battle and show off exciting Pokémon skills in one of three different Trainer Battle Leagues. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 850 million times and named "Best Mobile Game" by The Game Developers Choice Awards and "Best App of the Year" by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • It gets old too fast

Not much of a walker with neuropathy in my feet and it doesn’t work good riding a bike too fast to pick up anything at the stops unless you are in fact stopped. It’s just no fun anymore. Too many other people and groups have too many advantages over individual players and it encourages bullying when they all gang up on you at the gyms! I would not recommend this for anyone especially kids! Teach them to hunt and fish instead they’ll never go hungry AND it’s more fun!

I have had to delete, and download this game twice! It always says cannot find gps signal , and the last time it said no internet connection. I have unlimited everything . Costs a lot to have. I expect better cooperation from Niantic to fix these problems, other than telling me the same thing over and over .
  • Eevee’s Johto Evolutions Nicknames

Eevee can evolve into its psychic evolution, Espeon by naming an Eevee Sakura. Instead I named mine Tamao, but I got no Espeon. Instead I got Umbreon, a dark type. I wonder what Leafeon and Glaceon’s nicknames should be to get them. Speaking of which, Niantic, please add more Sinnoh evolutions. Thank you! Cappykidreal. Pokémon Trainer.
  • Great game

Battling could have a little more depth to it. But it’s finally here. Billions of dollars later, this is finally how the game should’ve been at launch. Wish I could’ve experienced this core gameplay when only the original 151 were out. Pokéball Plus is a great feature. Wish you click the joystick to activate it rather than the button that I can’t seem to find while it’s in my pocket. The joystick is easier to locate. Please consider this change. Great game, still play it daily since launch. It’s came a long ways. S
  • Needs Some Fixes

Can’t attach screenshots or any file via the new in-game support chat when submitting a bug report. Not sure how you missed that during testing. On iPhone XR, on the Field Research screen, the top of the screen is cut off (the binoculars icon to be exact is cut off by the notch). Please fix this. FIX THE POKÉDEX SLOW LOAD TIMES!!! CACHE THE GRAPHICS LOCALLY! The version number in the app on the Settings screen has never matched the iOS app version number listed in the App Store. This should match and Apple should have caught that already and pointed it out per developer guidelines. Pokédex and caught Pokémon graphics take forever to load, even on a brand new iPhone XR. Plus they always have to reload when you pull up those screens. Who thought it was a good idea not to allow the app to locally cache the graphics for the Pokémon? This was introduced when you fixed a scrolling/crashing defect on these same screens a very long time ago. This must have been your “fix” for that, but it’s poor coding honestly. This should be fixed as it looks bad and amateurish as is.
