Signed up, got the app installed on parent and child devices, set up time/app limits. No problem with the UI on either end. Would’ve given 4 stars for that. All was going well, until I noticed that I was in a free trial. Went to the account settings to find out how to get free service (even if it were much more limited). Turns out there is no free service option. The worst part: tapped the MANAGE SUBSCRIPTION button. What that button should be called is Purchase Subscription, because that’s exactly what it does. I did not want the $54.99 subscription, so I had to dispute it with Apple (super helpful BTW, thanks for being awesome, Apple). Now the app is uninstalled from both devices, never to be downloaded again.

The idea of the app is great. However my kids’ iPads keep getting blocked for no reason. They have to go into the app and follow some instructions in order to unlock it.
  • Terrible

I have all my apps in categories (mains, editing, games, etc.) and when my phone is “blocked” and “unblocked” the apps were all in different places. Then, the app constantly says I accidentally swiped away screen time and my phone has been blocked by the app for days and unusable

I downloaded this thinking it would help me with my teenage daughter. Well, the free version had limited options so I thought I’ll give it a try. Even talked my Fiancé and his sons mom into downloading it and using it as well for their son. I love the time limits and the ability to require them to complete tasks/chores, send pictures of the job and once approved you as the parent can unlock their phone. I was so excited to see this option!! It wouldn’t work on the free option so I upgraded. First issue, I couldn’t upload a picture as the profile for my daughter. Second Issue, I enter tasks/chores but when she took a picture to send to me I never got it. Here her phone is locked and I’m at work thinking she’s taking forever to empty the dishwasher, sweep and mop the kitchen floor. Third issue; I could see she was on the phone how much time she spent BUT I NEVER could see where she was spending her time. I gave it an extra month to see how it would go maybe kinks would work out but never got better. My timing was off, I missed my cancellation date by 1 day and I ended up paying another month. I love the control I had through the app. One option I really enjoyed was that I was able to shut her phone down/off through the app. That was great especially when a teenager is not getting off the phone after you asked them too 5min later and they are still on the phone. Listen, when you shut the phone down like that once or twice mid conversation you bet when you ask them to get off they listen. Lol I wish this worked I really liked it. I lost $30 truly didn’t get anything extra as the options didn’t work and all I was able to use was what was available on the free version and that wasn’t always the best. I hope they work out their kinks. Going to see if I can get a refund. $30 is a lot to spend/waste away and not get what you are promised.

This app has a great premise. It worked really well in the beginning for my daughter and it was a lifesaver for me for the first couple of weeks. However, the app crashes ALL THE TIME! It frustrates my daughter and me. Also, at times it will tell her she is out of time when she has used none and her phone is blocked at certain times of the day so there is no way she could be out of time. Save your money and find a better app, unless these issues and others can be fixed.

Seems to work but I tried to take a picture of my child through the app but where the pic is supposed to be just a spinning icon, no picture and no pause button. Ideas? More stars if this worked or I could undo.
