Video Teleprompter Premium App Description

Look more confident and natural on camera by recording your videos without having to glance away at your script or notes! Let's face it: It's hard to just start talking to a camera and look completely natural. Sometimes it just feels plain weird and awkward. Have you ever tried to read a script while you record, but it always just looks like you're glancing over and obviously reading a script? Video Teleprompter solves that problem beautifully! It carefully places your script on the screen closely to the camera, so your eyes are looking directly at the lens while you record. Imagine being able to easily and comfortably read a script while you record and have it look totally natural. Your videos will look way more professional and engaging instantly! Can you see how this can make a huge difference to the quality of your videos? – No more paper scripts. – No more memorizing what to say. – No more glancing off-camera at your notes. Main features: – Present your videos just like a professional – Maintain better eye-contact with the camera – Import your scripts – Record videos without the "Recorded with..." watermark – Record in landscape or portrait orientation – Record with either the front-facing or rear-facing camera – Tap to focus and expose – Lock the autofocus and autoexposure – Full screen mode – Adjustable text window – Control Scrolling & Recording from Apple Watch – Control Scrolling & Recording from a Bluetooth keyboard – Create, import, edit, save and share multiple scripts – Scripts from Teleprompter Premium are automatically available – Import from Dropbox – Export and share scripts with others – Improved scrolling logic to allow you to set even slower scroll speeds. Video Teleprompter automatically scrolls your scripts on the side of display closest to the front-facing camera on your device. This means that when you read your script, you're looking closer to the camera, rather than off-camera.

  • Soooo impressed with app - and service

    By Mollewog
I purchased this app a few months ago and it’s been BRILLIANT! I opened it up today to use it again after not having used it for a couple of months ... and the sound wouldn’t work. I couldn’t find an answer online, so I sent in a ticket. I then decided to delete the app and redownload. It is then that I discovered my problem. Me! I had turned off microphone on my phone. 😳 duh!! Here’s the thing - while I was doing that, I heard my email go off. It was the app support responding to help me. He asked about the microphone - so he had the answer. What was THE MOST impressive is how quickly he responded to me. Like within 2 minutes from when I sent in the ticket. Wow! I had to share. 😊
  • Works Great! No More Bugs!

If you look at the low ratings on this app, they were all from two years ago. The ratings continue to climb from there and this app has been worth it. Several revisions have knocked out any bugs and it makes speeches, presentations and YouTube vlogs easy to prepare and record. Make your process easier. Get the app and cut down your trial and error trying to get that good recording of your monologue.
  • Where is the update?

    By My Asianlicous
Where is the update for this App for iPhone X as promised? Will give it 5 Stars when that day comes.
  • Video quality not great

    By solcito-lindo
If this app allowed you to enter and edit text from your desktop or using a keyboard, and if the video quality was better, I'd give it 5 stars.
  • Disappointed

    By Math Brad
I thought this app was exactly what I needed. I record videos for online courses. Unfortunately, the downfalls leave me disappointed. When I try to use my Apple Watch as a remote to start a script, the watch just keeps saying it’s waiting for a script to be loaded, even if there is a script on the screen of my phone. I recorded six videos today. Of those six videos, one of them stopped recording prematurely. Another of the six didn’t save at all. A 67% success rate is not what I’m looking for in a “professional” app. Update (July 31) - I submitted a help ticket, as the developer requested on July 20, and have not received a response.
  • Easy to use!

I had to record an intro video for a contest. This app made it super easy for me! I didn’t have to memorize what I wanted to say or look like I was reading. It was very easy to use!
  • Great APP

    By Joelectron
This has been a huge help in creating screencast videos. Lots of features and intuitive interface. Makes me want to upgrade my device though as the iPhone 6 selfie camera doesn’t have great resolution. I ended up attaching a webcam to the phone so that I can use the app’s interface and video with higher resolution. Worked great and very impressed with all the features.
  • Stopped, Frozen, Waste of Money

Do not buy! On the first attempt it stopped and nothing works. The freebie version played thru over and over...premium is a dud.
  • Does not work as advertised

    By Gregoryfu
In spite of having misgivings about the app because of the amount of time it takes to save a video, as experienced on the free version of the app, I went ahead and bought the premium version anyway. The reason I bought the premium version was to use the remote control feature. When you tap the Bluetooth button on the free or premium version, it informed you that the spacebar will pause the text scrolling. Being able to pause remotely makes using teleprompter software a breeze. But instead of pausing, this software writes the video file every time you hit the spacebar. If I had known that the pause feature did not work, I would have never bought the app. I’ve gone to the developer's websites, and I see no way to even email for support.
  • No iPhone X support makes app less useful

    By MattHauger
There aren’t a lot of apps competing in this market, and this might still be the best of the bunch. But the app hasn’t yet been updated for the iPhone X, three months after that hardware launch. For most apps, this is a minor quibble. For a video teleprompter app, though, this poses a problem: your eyes, while reading the text, are distanced from the camera by the software bezel imposed by the OS for apps not optimized for the X’s size. That makes it more likely that your video viewers will be able to tell that you’re looking away from the camera. Hopefully, X support is coming soon!
